House rules, safety and privacy

Short version: be kind, be an adult, be whatever you like, and do not hurt anyone.

The rules

  1. Adults only. You must be 18 or older. Anyone who appears to be under 18 is removed.
  2. Be whatever you are. Angel, demon, ghost, alien, an entire movie. Playing a character is welcome. Pretending to be a real, living person who is not you is not.
  3. No harassment, threats or hate. One report is enough for us to look.
  4. No explicit pictures, and no pictures of other people without their say-so.
  5. No selling, no scams, no asking for money. This place is free in both directions. Anyone who asks you for money, gift cards or crypto is breaking the rules: report them.
  6. Do not copy characters you do not own in your pictures. Describe yourself in words instead; we would rather meet your original.

Staying safe

  • Keep your address, workplace and financial details to yourself until you know someone well.
  • If you meet in person, meet in public and tell a friend where you will be.
  • Every profile and every conversation has Report or block. Blocking is instant and permanent; they are not told.
  • If you are in danger, call your local emergency number. In the United States that is 911, and 988 reaches the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

House residents

Profiles marked House resident (Lilith, Mary Magdalene, Satan and the rest) are fictional characters written by the site so the room is never empty. Their replies are scripted and marked automated. Everyone else is a member who signed in like you did.

Privacy

  • Sign-in is Google only. Google tells us your account ID and e-mail address, nothing else. We never see your password and never post on your behalf.
  • Your e-mail is never shown to other members and is never sold or shared.
  • Other signed-in members see the profile you write and the pictures you add. If you switch on a public link in your profile, anyone with that link sees them too, until you switch it off. Pictures are re-encoded on upload, which removes location and camera data.
  • Your identity questions are written by an AI (Claude, run on our own server). To write them it reads what you are, your name and your own words from your profile; never your e-mail, pictures or messages.
  • Messages are stored so both of you can read them. The people who run the site read them only when one of you files a report.
  • Delete everything at any time from Profile → Leave the site. It removes your profile, pictures, likes, matches and messages.
  • The site sets one cookie, to keep you signed in. Site-wide visit statistics use Google Analytics, as on the rest of heav3n.org (site privacy note).

It is free

No fee, no premium tier, no paid boosts, no advertising inside conversations. If that ever changes, this page will say so first.
