Privacy
Covers the heav3n.org app (Windows, Linux and Meta Quest) and this website. Effective 10 October 2026.
heav3n.org is made by Scarlet Beast Corporation. The app has no accounts, no advertising and no in-app purchases. This page says what it handles when you use it, and what it does not.
What the app sends when you are in the world with other people
When you enter, the app connects to our relay at heav3n.org so that visitors can see and hear each other. While you are connected it sends:
- The name you chose. It is shown above your figure to everyone present. If you do not choose one, the app makes up a name such as “Soul 283”. On desktop the name is remembered on your own device.
- Where you are standing and which way you face, about twelve times a second, so others see you move.
- Your voice, only while you are making sound and your voice is not muted. It is passed in real time to the other people who are in the world at that moment, and to everyone present when you use the stage microphone.
The relay passes these straight on to the other visitors. Voice is not recorded or stored. Positions are not stored. When you leave, nothing about your visit remains in the world.
What our server keeps
- A connection log. When you join and leave, the relay writes a line with the time, the name you chose, the kind of device (desktop or headset) and your IP address. We use it to keep the service running and to deal with abuse. These logs are kept for a limited time and then rotate away.
- Ordinary web logs. When the app checks for a new release, downloads one, or loads this website, our web server and our network provider (Cloudflare) see your IP address and what was requested, as with any website.
Microphone
The app asks for the microphone for live voice, and for one more thing: the door of the screen called The True Story of Jesus Christ opens to a spoken password. While you stand within about twenty metres of that screen, each short phrase you say (at most a few seconds) is sent to heav3n.org and turned into text by a speech recognition program running on our own server, only to check whether it is the password. This happens even if your voice is muted for other visitors. That audio and its text are not stored, are not sent to any other company, and are not passed to other visitors; the server keeps only a line saying whether the door opened.
You can mute your voice in the app at any time, or refuse the microphone permission; everything except speaking, and that one door, still works.
Other people
Voice in the world is live and is not moderated or filtered. Other visitors hear what you say and see the name you chose. Do not share anything there that you would not say in a public place.
What the app does not do
- It does not ask for or collect your real name, email address, contacts, location, photos or payment details.
- It does not use advertising or analytics software, and it does not sell or share your information with advertisers.
- It does not record what you say.
Meta Quest
If you install the app from the Meta Horizon Store, Meta provides it to you under its own terms and privacy policy, and the app may confirm with Meta that your account owns it. We do not receive your Meta account details beyond what is needed for that check.
This website
The website uses Google Analytics to count visits. The forms on the site send us what you type into them, and nothing else.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and contains strong language. Because voice is live between visitors, it is not suitable for unsupervised children.
Your choices
You can use the app without speaking and under any name. To ask what our logs hold about a connection you made, or to have it removed, write to us with the approximate date and time.
